Today I went over to Tessa's house!! We made pies...well, cupcakes... well, pies. I don't know.
Here's The recipie for whatever we made today:
You will need:
- Vanilla cupcakes. For best results use silver foil liners.
- 2 cans of vanilla frosting ( We used cream-cheese frosting)
- Yellow Food dye
-1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
-1 cup of each red and blue M&M
#1: Tint all the Vanilla Frosting with 3 or 4 drops of the yellow food dye and the cocoa powder to make a light brown colour for the crust. Spread some of the frosting on the top of the cupcake leaving a 1/4 inch of the cupcake exposed on the outside. For the filling, arrange accordingly like-coloured candies. Do the same with each cupcake.#2: Spoon the remaining frosting into an icing bag. For the crust, Pipe a bunch of lines on the exposed part of the cupcake. Then, pipe criss-cross lines on top of the candies.
#3: See if people think they are pies or cupcakes. They confused me!
