Oatmeal Cookies

Hey,
So, I was thinking for a while now that I should make oatmeal cookies. I knew that my mom had a couple recipes, so I thought I would dig 'em up! Sadly, I didn't make mom's cookies.
I ended up making a recipe from this cookbook my aunt Mel gave me ( Magnificent cookies cookbook).

It's filled with all sorts of awesome cookie recipes. This is the first time I used it. Same goes for my amazing new mix master!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, even though I'm psyched about my new mix-master, I'm gonna get on to the recipe.

 You Will Need:
- 1 cup of butter
- 1 cup of firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs.
- 1 tsp. of vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup of honey
- 1 cup of flour
- 4 cups of quick cooking oatmeal
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon

#1: Preheat oven to 350. Lightly butter cookie sheets.
#2: Cream butter. Add sugar and beat until fluffy.
#3: Add eggs, vanilla, and honey. Mix in well.
#4: In separate bowl, mix together remaining ingredients.
#5: Gradually blend dry and creamed mixtures together, until dough is mixed.
#6: Drop by tablespoons onto prepared cookie sheets ( you may want to push them down a bit to make them flat).
#7: Bake for 12-14 min.
#8: EAT!!!

The cookies are pretty good. I hope you enjoy them!

Becca.
