EXTRA! EXTRA!

This blog today is going to act as an update.

Today I went over to Grandma's again. We had no idea what to bake. I had already made mint squares, skor bars, gingerbread men, candy cane cookies, sugar cookies, and I'm going to make nut squares at home.

We decided to make more gingerbread men. Tp those of you who haven't mad these gingerbread men: MAKE THEM! These cookies were gone in a day at my household. I will say again: the trick to a good gingerbread is to not bake them too long so the cookies are nice and soft.

Last weekend Dad tought me how to make mushroom thyme tortier (I don't know how to spell it). I think the name is french. Anyways, My dad makes it every year, It's really only been a year since I have gotten interested in the culinary arts (I only say that because it sounds posh). He decided he would teach me how to make this glorious annual tradition. This is the most scrumptious food I have tasted. I will warn you though; it's a work out to make. I am still in progress of uploading it to my blog, I hope I will have the recipe for the trtier and for nut squares in the next week.

Happy Christmas!
Becca.
